En Amérique latine, une joyeuse bande d’animaux cohabite en harmonie au pays de Xo, au cœur de la forêt tropicale. En marge de cette communauté vit Nachi, un jeune coati orphelin, débrouillard et solitaire. Une catastrophe naturelle menace soudain les habitants de Xo. Mais pour le vieux sorcier Cocopa, un espoir subsiste – et cet espoir, contre toute attente, c’est Nachi…
